Backwards on purpose
Ok, earlier I alluded to some unavoidable major expenses:
- car
- pet healthcare
- personal healthcare
- educational*
(optional)
I'm going to do something that's temporarily a huge step backwards. Charge some of it.
Come down from the ceiling, it's on purpose.
First up, I'm going to pay off @ least 3 of my credit cards. Side note: I also needed to buy some clothes, real clothes, not just sweats and t-shirts I tend to live in. 'Member I said I was going to look into a 2nd job, I needed to have decent clothes and shoes, plus on a personal level, sinking into depression, I need a pick me up.
Those I didn't charge, but it diverts some of the monies I planned to use to pay off my debt. I guess I could use the mone I'd use to pay off my 3 credit cards to tackle those expenses, but I'd really like to have just one credit card to focus on. Even if it means what I pay off, and end up charging up amounts to the same.
This kinda sucks, as it takes some of the momentum out of my longterm plan, throws my newborn budget for a loop and feels like I'm already failing before I start, but I'm doing it fully aware of why.
This week I need to get an oil change and two new tires. Next week I have to take my 2.5 month old kitty for her shots and to get her fixed as well as get major car work, tune up, maybe even new brakes and on a personal level I need to get some of my own girlie visits to the doctor taken care of *cough*
But I have no fears. My big idea is simmering in the background.
