Check yo' mail fool
So before I dusted off this blog, I was going thru a bit of a black funk. On my other blog, I got a lot of feedback after posting the need to step away from writing for a while. I didn't much feel like reading the emails, so I just left them unread for about 3 weeks.
Also during that time, a year long ad campaign was about to expire and I wrote my contact to see if they wanted to continue on. I don't remember how much time between emails, but being in a funk it felt like years passed, so it compounded to my overall depression.
Weekend before last, I finally went thru the emails and saw not only did I get a yea on another year long ad, I got another site the same deal. Netting me enough bonus monies to pay off the bottom 3 Credit Cards and make a dent in the Capital One gold card. Lesson learned.
Not saying there is a pot of gold sitting in your mailbox, but you never know huh?
