Finally!
I got answers to my invisible statement from Capital One and pending deposit to my bank account.
Since I paid off the card and had no balance, there were no interest charges. No need for a statement.
And the deposit came through today. Or @ least it's pending today. The had problems with checks going out last week is what caused the delay. It would've been nice if they emailed and gave a heads up as to what was going on. By mid week I was in a state of panic and emailed every possible contact. Finally an email reached someone who escalated it and I got an answer.
But that's not all, I have even more great news in the credit card payoff department. I *may* be able to get the Capital One Gold card paid off by the end of this month. May.
Today I made 1 of the 5 remaining short term charge, tires $265 OUCH!. Tomorrow it's the oil change and wash. I know I know, why don't I wash and change the oil myself, it'll save bucks. Long story short, I didn't plan/wasted time and need to have the car ready for a long road trip. That may be one of my 2007 goals. And really, the car is in such bad shape, I can't begin got get it clean, but once it is, I'll maintain and do it myself from here on out.
When I come back to town, it'll be the final 2 vet visits and biggest expense of 'em all, tune up.
So I may pay it down by end of this month, but I'm looking to tack on a few more charges after the New Year. I'm debating on if I should wait for all the dust to settle and just pay my new minimum on it.
