Where am I?

Just like my weight, the totality of my debt can be so overwhelming I can't see the end in sight. There are moments where I feel like I'm cruising along, making progress, don't have too far to go.

Then…

I unsquint my eyes, see the total amount still owed and something in me sinks.

Just for today, I'm going to look back to where I was a year ago today, when I wasn't exactly counting ALL my debt, I'm lQQking @ you loans. Then I'll look back to the day I restarted this mission to see what I've been able to accomplish and maybe just for one day, feel a bit better.

A year ago:

I was in far less credit card debt, had 1 less credit card, but still owed almost $1,800. I also wasn't paying any of my student loans, I can guesstimate the car loan was about $7,500 and Williams and Fudge was about $5,700. I was living in an apartment paying twice the rent I am now, in addition to gas, electricity and phone, which are all included in my current rent.

When I restarted this mission:

As of this month:

Hrmm...all in all, I've done good. Managing to pay aprox $4,500 from October to January and that's just in credit card payments. Shure the overall total went up a bit, but I think I miscalculated the original amount (that whole interest mishap), so even that went down.

Good enough to reward myself for being 100% credit card debt free!

WOOT!
