Yikes!
I didn't realize it's been so long since my last post. Sorry about that. Things are just CRAZY in the debtfreerenee household. I'll be moving in about 3 months, so looking for a new place to live is Job 1.
I'm still on track w/my repayments, I'll have a better update next week, after I balance up all my accounts this weekend.
This week I got pretty sick, partially due to the insanely high pollen count, 5500+ high, they consider anything over a 100 to be extremely high, so yea. Then over the weekend, out house hunting, I got caught in the rain, by Sunday afternoon, I had a tickle in my throat that turned into a full blown sickness by Monday night.
My car insurance policy got renewed. One thing I didn't mention in my gleeful update, was I got a few letters from them that looked like I was denied the new rate. So I called up another rep, who said the dip in money was temporary and they wouldn't know for sure what the rate will be till the policy renews.
Well a few days ago I got an email the new policy was posted and when I checked it, my rate is $330/6 months. Huzzah!
I went ahead and paid that in FULL and will still do as I planned, act as if I pay $125/mo so I'll take away the difference (including the $1/mo installment surcharge) to pay of my debt. I also got the refund of $283 which'll go to pay off my debt.
What else?
I'm waiting to hear back from an ad renewal and I have 2 more money pots boiling in the background I need to tend to.
My car tags are due in a month, that's $184 + $25 emissions test. I'll take that out of the 10% snowball of $236 and use the remaining for my debt.
That's all for now, I'll be back in a few days to update the chart on the right and talk about a challenge I want to do. I normally do mini challenges when it comes to fitness, but I found a great article a few weeks back that gave me an idea for a financial challenge too.
*ahh-choo*
