Deep Sleep

On and off, I slept almost 10 hours last night. Then I took a 2 hour nap this afternoon. So now I'm up. But nof for long, I have orientation tomorrow and training starts Tuesday, I guess I'm just resting up. In the meantime, I've updated MS Money bill accts, I'll tackle the bank accts later this week. I signed up for a few cool things in the last week. I opened up another checking acct, that'll take money from the new gig and is strictly for debt pay down. W/one of my credit unions, I signed up for, (actually I did it w/both CUs I just forgot once I opted for paperless statements I got free bill pay) online bill pay. That will pay down the Target card in advance.

Stupid target will only let me schedule about 3 payments in advance and now that I've gotten the new balance lowered, I have a hard time paying extra on the card. So I wiped out all pending payments and set up bill pay via my CU.

I also signed up for a monthly email reminder when bills are due. For the most part, I do okay, since I update MS money a couple of times a month and the majority of my bills are on auto payment in some form or another. But now that some cc's are paid off, to keep them active and keep using some of the free features, I've spread out 5 recurring bills among 4 cards. The monthly payments were already coming out of my main bank account and range from 4.94 to 9.99. Now that I have that in place, I set up the auto reminder email so I can take the monthy out of my bank acct ASAP.

Then I found out last month my biggest student loan payment dropped about $25. But I don't want to stop paying what I'm used to, instead I'll continue to send the original payment but the extra will be via check so I can apply it directly to the princpal, so I needed a reminder email for that too.

Other than that, things are cranking along. I'm really enjoying my time off doing NOTHING!!! Tomorrow I go back into job#3 to update my schedule and then I'm not back there till Labor Day, if they schedule me, I'm BIG on working federal holidays, time and 1/2 and all that good stuff.
